Park Assist featured in 2013 Range Rover Evoque for U.S. markets
Available for the first time on the 2012 Range Rover Evoque in Europe, ‘Park Assist’ is now hitting the North American shores for 2013 model. This automated technology helps drivers parallel park their car in tight parking spots. Infact, this more advanced system now only requires 1.2 times the length of your vehicle.
Once the Park Assist system has identified a parking space using its ultrasonic sensors, the system automatically steers the car into place while the driver operates the accelerator, brake and clutch. Informative graphics and messages are displayed in the cluster screen to guide the driver through each stage.
Land Rover has already announced the all new 2013 Range Rover will also feature Park Assist. Watch the video below see how Park Assist works.
