Land Rover Palm Beach Previews New Range Rover Sport in National Inside Track Tour

 

West Palm Beach, FL – June 08, 2022 – Last night as part of the Inside Track Tour, Land Rover Palm Beach hosted a preview of the New Range Rover Sport for invited guests and owners to receive an up-close first look at the highly anticipated dynamic SUV. The New Range Rover Sport refined appearance speaks to the modernity of the Range Rover family, but with a sporty edge. With its legendary on-road performance combined with Land Rover’s all-terrain capability, the new Range Rover Sport will be the most capable, refined, and dynamic Range Rover Sport ever produced. 

 

During the private event, guests were immersed in all aspects of the Range Rover Sport, exploring the modernist design, refined exterior color palette, innovative interior materials, as well as the luxury SUV’s peerless refinement and breadth of capability on- and off-road.

The Inside Track Tour will take place at more than 180 Land Rover retailers across the U.S. for Range Rover Sport owners and invited guests to preview the new model before it arrives in showrooms this fall. 

 

NEW RANGE ROVER SPORT 

New Range Rover Sport is based on Land Rover’s advanced, flexible Modular Longitudinal Architecture (MLA-Flex), which provides the perfect foundations for its superior dynamics and peerless refinement. Its line-up of powerful and efficient powertrains7 includes a six-cylinder extended range Electric Hybrid plug-in, which provide a pure-electric driving range of up to an estimated 48 miles range1.   

The new 523 HP V8 Twin Turbo, exclusive to the First Editions, provides sports car performance, accelerating from 0-60mph in just 4.3 seconds with Dynamic Launch engaged. Customers can also choose from powerful and efficient mild hybrid gasoline  Ingenium engines7, while pure-electric propulsion will be available in 2024, as Land Rover continues its electrification journey.  

 

 

Assertive modern design  

Dramatic proportions accentuate the Range Rover Sport vehicle’s motive design with taut surfacing, a dynamic stance, and an instantly recognizable profile, perfectly accentuated by its muscular proportions – giving the impression the vehicle is poised and ready.   

 

New Range Rover Sport vehicle’s reductive design extends to its all-new interior. Featuring a new cockpit-like interpretation of the distinctive Range Rover Command Driving Position, the latest convenience and driver assistance technologies and finest materials combine to ensure every drive is an experience to savour.    

 

Engaging on every journey  

A comprehensive dynamic toolkit combines the most engaging and dynamically capable driving experience, based around the inherent strength of the flexible mixed-metal MLA body architecture. A suite of technologies governed by Land Rover’s Integrated Chassis Control system2 work in harmony to provide instinctive responses and agility.   

 

The very best of the New Range Rover Sport vehicle’s chassis systems combine in the Stormer Handling Pack, unique to the First Edition, which includes Dynamic Response Pro, All-Wheel Steering, the Electronic Active Differential with Torque Vectoring by Braking, and Configurable Programs2. The latter provides the opportunity to personalize the driving modes, tailoring the driving experience both on and off-road. All elements of this pack are standard and available only in the First Edition. Dynamic Response Pro is a 48-volt electronic active roll-over protection system2, capable of applying up to 1000 pounds of torque across each axle, for a confidence-inspiring driving experience and new levels of body control and cornering composure, while All-Wheel Steering2 helps achieve unrivaled agility and maneuverability at low speeds, with superior stability at high speeds4.  

 

Dynamic Air Suspension introduces switchable-volume air springs for the first time and is fitted to every New Range Rover Sport. The intelligent system enhances the bandwidth of the suspension by varying the pressure within the airbags8 to deliver traditional Range Rover comfort with the dynamic handling expected from the Range Rover Sport. To optimize responses, the vehicle monitors the road ahead using eHorizon navigation data to pre-emptively prime the vehicle for upcoming bends2.   

 

Epitome of sporting luxury  

New Range Rover Sport makes every journey an event and can be honed to be as dynamically engaging as the driver desires, while also offering enhanced levels of refinement and comfort. This ability to combine dual characters is made possible by a comprehensive set of technologies.  The advanced Cabin Air Purification Pro system helps create and maintain the optimum interior environment for wellbeing and alertness, while a selection of powerful Meridian™ audio options is available. The Meridian Signature Sound System is the most advanced audio system ever fitted to a Range Rover Sport, with up to 29 speakers including four headrest speakers to create personal sound zones for the four main cabin occupants.
