What Does the Boys and Girls Club Do? 

The organization’s continuing mission is to “enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.” Every child enjoys a “world-class club experience,” with all members preparing to graduate from high school and plan for fantastic futures. The Boys and Girls Club offers numerous programs designed to help children reach their full potential, such as: 

• Family Services: Family Fun Nights provide families throughout Wellington and the nearby communities with delightful, educational programming in comfort-driven settings. Other family services include Project FACT (Fathers And Children Together), which is designed to help fathers and father figures improve their parenting skills and become more involved with their children. 
• Great Futures: The Great Futures initiative offers social-emotional learning, academic support, and college and career prep, as well as student scholarship opportunities through programs such as Youth Volunteer Corps and Americorps Florida. 
• Healthy Lifestyles: This program is all about stressing healthy behaviors, with subprograms concentrating on cavity prevention, smart dating choices, tobacco avoidance, and other habits that contribute to overall health and wellness. 

These are just some of the programs the Boys and Girls Club offers! Others focus on the cultural arts, sports and fitness, character and leadership development, technology/STEM, and teens.
