This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week is Sara Snyder! Sara didn’t just leave with one first place medal at the Girls Class 1A Tennis State Championship, she left with 3. Dominating the court, Sara Snyder is our Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week! Snyder came back home to Boca Raton Saint Andrew’s winning the singles, doubles, and her teams 4th consecutive team win last Monday.
This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week is Senior Martin County Lacrosse Player and Keiser Seahawk commit Cameron Provines isn’t playing games in his final high school season and has been selected as our Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week! In just 14 games he has won 78% of the Tigers face-offs and has a total of 154 overall face-off wins of 198. Provines has sealed 92 ground balls, 22 goals, and 17 assists. Provines will be taking his lacrosse career over to Keiser University next fall. He tells us what it means to be a captain and how his team has pushed him on and off the field.
This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week is Boynton Beach Softball Player, Tariya Pratt, who has dominated on the diamond for her team this season and has earned herself last week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week. Tariya Pratt is just beginning her softball high school career as only a sophomore and is showing other competition she is there to play. In the game against Lake Worth, Pratt went 2-2 at the plate and stole six bases to help with the Tigers victory. Catching up with Tariya she lets us know who influenced her to start playing softball and what she thinks the Tigers need to do to improve for next season.
This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week is Palm Beach Gardens and University of Miami track commit Jacious Sears is the favorite for first place for the State Championship. Jacious won the 100-meter dash at the Bob Hayes Invitational and took home first in the 100 and 200 at the FSU relays earlier in the season. Jacious will be competing nationally in the New Balance and ESPN Disney races this summer to continue her track career.
This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week is Olympic Height’s Girl’s Tennis Player, Sofia Ferraz. Sofia has dominated on the court for her team this season and has earned herself last week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week. Sofia is a sophomore and has had herself a season to remember, she is undefeated with a record of 6-0 and all of her wins have come against division opponents. Her closest victory came against Park Vista where she won by a score of 8-5. Sofia plans to build on her momentum and finish out her season strong and hopes to eventually become a pro!
This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week is Bryan Canedo from Palm Beach Gardens High School. Bryan Canedo only needed two years of training to earn a Wrestling State Championship last weekend. Canedo transitioned from Jujitsu to Wrestling and came home to Palm Beach Gardens with the school’s first ever 220-pound State Championship. Canedo is now a staggering 80 – 6, and plans this summer to compete nationally. ”
This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week is Cassidy is only a freshman at Treasure Coast, but she is tearing up the softball diamond. Cassidy picked up her second shutout of the year, striking out eight, and only allowing one hit in a 5-0 win over St. Lucie West Centennial. Curd also struck out 14 and went 2-3 with an RBI against Fort Pierce Central. Cassidy also last year in 8th grade received her first offer by UCF! ”
This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week is Leah Goldwaser from Olympic Heights High Schools Girls Soccer team. Leah scored the winning goal against Key West, assisted all 3 goals in a 3-0 win over Santaluces, and scored the tying goal against rival West Boca. Leah tells us how her contributions have helped her team in match-ups this season. ”
This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week is Mark-Anthony Richards from Wellington High School! Last Tuesday Head Football Coach Dan Mullen from the University of Florida flew his helicopter to Wellington High School to officially offer Richards. Richards is a highly ranked recruit in Palm Beach County and lets us know how his recruiting process has been so far and gives advice to underclassman at Wellington High who will eventually go through this. ”
This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week is is Sh’Naya Anderson from the Palm Beach Lakes Girl’s Basketball team! Sh’Naya scored a career high of 28 points in last week’s victory over top-seeded West Boca Raton High School! Anderson proved that she was capable of providing for her team after she scored 17 points in the first half. Along with her career-high points, Sh’Naya also grabbed 8 rebounds throughout the game which helped her team win the District Title. The junior looked to build on a positive season and she did just that during one of her biggest games of the year.”
This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week is is Forest Hill High School’s Torrin Andrews. Andrews has been a major role in the success of the Falcons season and contributing to Forest Hills first District Championship. Torrin brought his hot hand and was a perfect 10 for 10 from the free throw line against Santaluces. Along with his perfect percentage from the line against the Chiefs, Torrin also had a solid game against Palm Beach Lakes where he helped lead his team to the District Title and posted 13 points along with 4 steals.”
This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week is Jordana Codio from American Heritage! Codio, only a freshman scored over 30 points in American Heritages Girls Basketball Winter Break tournament. She already has received offers from Miami, Oklahoma, Florida, and more top schools in the Nation. Jordana has helped lead her team who last season only won 3 games to now having 13 wins so far this season.
This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week Olympic Heights basketball sophomore, Micah Octave! Octave had 22 points, 13 rebounds, five blocks and five steals in Olympic Height’s monstrous 79-44 win against Seminole Ridge last week. Micah has his mind set on making the playoffs this year and hoping to continue playoff runs for the remainder of his High School Career. Congratulations Micah!
This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week is Ben Lubarsky on the Varsity Basketball Team from The Benjamin School. Ben is averaging over 30 points a game and is a favorite to win the Small School Player of the Year Award by the Palm Beach Post again this year. Ben is committed to play basketball at American University this fall and cannot wait to go up against the competition on a collegiate level.
This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week is Oxbridge Academy, Alexa Zaph! Alexa is a standout Girls Basketball Player in Palm Beach County and is currently committed to play at Florida Atlantic University! Alexa is always trying to improve on the court and plans to help her team again this year make it to States!
This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week is The King’s Academy’s very own, Justin Wake! Justin in the Regional Semifinal game against Holy Trinity ended up fracturing his foot, but that did not stop him from going into the Regional Final game and throwing with 22 seconds remaining the game winning touchdown. Wake has been a standout all season at King’s and didn’t let a minor injury stop him from helping to lead his team to the State Championship this Saturday.
This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week is Seminole Ridges, Jahnae Midget. Jahne is a sophomore and is a star leader on the court on the Girls Varsity Basketball team! Over the past couple of games, Midget has averaged about 30 points a game. While being a star on the court, she also keeps up with her classwork and has a 4.0 HPA! Jahnae hopes to help lead the team to success this year and hopefully play basketball in college!
This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week is Boca Raton High School’s, Jessie Creed! Jessie took home 1st place in the FHSAA 4A state diving championships and this isn’t her first time. Creed won 1st the past 2 years in Illinois and 3rd place as a freshman. She tells us her emotions of that day and how she was able to take home 1st place. Jessie will be attending the University of Miami on a diving scholarship!
This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week is Spanish River High School’s Cross Country runner, Rylee Pustilnik! Rylee is currently a junior at Spanish River and is one of the best female distance runners in the region! Rylee was never into running and use to go to five -k’s with her parents until she realized she was really good at it! She couldn’t be where she is without the help of her family, coach, and team.
This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week is a sophomore wide receiver at Seminole Ridge Community High School, Brandon Schabert! In the game against Palm Beach Gardens Brandon scored both touchdowns during the second and third quarter and scored his third touchdown in overtime to give Seminole Ridge the win over Palm Beach Gardens with the final score being 21-14. Head Football Coach at Seminole Ridge, Rick Casko told us, “Not only is Brandon a great player on the field, [he is] even a better person off the field. We may have been one of the first to interview Brandon, but I am sure it won’t be his last.”
This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week is Vero Beach’s Varsity Quarterback, Nick Celidonio! Nick in their game against St. Lucie West Centennial broke the all-time Treasure Coast career passing yards at 6,741 yards! This isn’t even including the rest of the games that Nick has left this season. The Fighting Indians are currently undefeated and on a 50 in game season winning streak and Nick is looking to lead them to many more.
This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week is Martin County High School Quarterback, George Johnson! George against Okeechobee scored 2 rushing touchdowns, threw 2 touchdown passes, forced a fumble, and recovered a fumble on offense. Johnson’s main goal this season is to get his team back on top and prepare them for next season as he leaves to go play for Michigan.

This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week Santaluces Varsity running back Val Carnegie! Val scored his second touchdown of the night giving Santaluces the lead over Boca Raton which ultimately led to a victory for the Chiefs. Val’s Head Coach Brian Coe even had some great things to say about him after the game saying, “Val is a great kid, a great person, does well in the classroom, and I’m just happy for him to have the success he’s having.”
This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week is Treasure Coast High School’s very own Tyrec Thompson! Tyrec in the game against undefeated Vero Beach had an interception, a running, and a passing touchdown all before the half! Tyrec hopes he can follow his dream and keep the path he is going to play college football next year. Thompson’s goal this season is to help bring his team back together and go to states.
This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week is John Carroll Catholic’s very own Jay Allen! Jay this season has helped turn around John Carroll’s football program with tripling their wins compared to last season. Although Jay is committed to UF to play baseball he loves the game of football and will continue to play until he no longer can. Allen has finished a handful of games with over 200 yards, but says he couldn’t have the success he does without his team and coaches.
This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week is Palm Beach Gardens High School’s, Brielle Jones! Brielle has done an awesome job this season as the girls Volleyball Team Senior Head Captain. She’s a great team player and shows her dedication by leaving everything she has out on the volleyball court. After she graduates, Jones is committed to play volleyball for Pace University and hopes to continue her career in sports management.
This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week is David Studstill from Palm Beach Gardens High School! David is the quarterback for the Gators and this past Friday he threw five touchdowns, including on in the final seconds, to finish off a 38-35 comeback victory over the Glades Central Raiders. He totaled six all-purpose touchdowns last Friday night, having rushed for a score earlier in the game. Congrats David and good luck this season! #LRPBPOW
This week’s Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week is Darius McClendon from Forest Hill High School. Darius is the quarterback of the Falcons and in their game against Suncoast he kicked off Thursday night’s scoring by breaking a tackle in the backfield and scoring on a 19-yard run. McClendon led the way for the Falcons on offense by totaling 3 touchdowns, 2 on the ground and one in the air. The Falcons ended up winning the game 40 – 12 against the Chargers and have shown they are ready to take on anyone this season. Congrats Darius and good luck this season! #LRPBPOW
This week’s weeks Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week is Chris D’Or from Cardinal Newman High School. He was ranked number three on hudl for the longest run in Florida high school football. He has stood out in every game so far this season and is only a junior. Chris is also involved in writing and putting together his schools newspaper. This week’s weeks Land Rover Palm Beach Player of the Week was Jadien Durant, running back and linebacker from Wellington High School! Jadien scored both touchdowns against Park Vista giving Wellington the win and he even hurdled over a Park Vista player to make one of them. Durant scored his first touchdown on the first offensive play of the game catching a 78-yard pass. Close to the end of the game Durant scored his 2nd touchdown after receiving a handoff and running 75-yards into the end zone.
